Positivity Posters

A few weeks ago, on World Kindness Day, 5th graders created Positivity Posters as a way to show Power through words. Their words are meant to encourage and show support to others while recognizing that not every day will be easy - we are all fighting our own battles. Check out the digital posters:
 

3rd Grade GT Parent Night

Vocabulary Movies

Our unit test is coming right up! To get ready, students created videos emphasizing a vocabulary word. These are great for helping others study!

Another Busy Day in GT

The 3rd grade GT class was honored to have a request for a very special guest presentation! Emma, one of our students was determined to learn more about American Indians; do they still exist? She found out more on her own time and shared her research with the class. Thanks Emma!

Mr. Arney joined us for our second chess lesson. He was so impressed with the critical thinking! The rest of the day was spent on an immersive movie making project that incorporates using an Atlas (for the first time for most students), creativity, building using motors and gears, and programming our Lego WeDo Robotics kits to suit the scene in a movie.
