Lights. Camera, STOP Motion

5th graders were screen writers and movie directors today as they had the task of telling a didactic story (a movie with a moral). Their claymation movies couldn't have speaking - the visual story may have sound effects or music. Take a moment and enjoy these didactic stories!

How over the top and creative you are!

4th graders wrote some very create odes (inspired by Valentine's Day). Check out their creative appreciation of an object they love!

Ozobot's Candy Catch

Poor Ozobot - he lost all of his Valentine candy. 5th graders put their coding skills to the test in order to program Ozo to gather the candy. Check out some fun footage below.

Valentiny Express

Delivering Valentine hearts fast is the challenge 3rd grade faced today. They had to design a vehicle that could run off of balloon propulsion and if possible it needed to carry candy too. Students designed, tested, and re-designed to come up with the best possible vehicle. Check out some fun footage of the day!

Ozo-Light Painting

4th graders put their problem-solving and computational thinking skills to the test as they attempted to program the Ozobot to write in light. This was a challenging additional to our day of bioluminesence tasks.

The Case of the Unsigned Notes

3rd graders used a forensic technique called chromotography to solve the mystery. Watch the short video for a peek into the day.

Rainbow Trout Hatch

Our little trout have hatched! Check out the time-lapse video of them hatching.
